Our second meeting of Generation Jacob went really well! Our group discussion was great; thank you to everyone who participated! Your thoughts and ideas were very helpful! We came up with a lot of good and useful ideas for making our church presentation. We will be putting it all together, and hope to start doing our presentation soon.
Once again our prayer time was wonderful. It’s so beautiful to see how God is already growing us in our prayer life. He is strengthening us as prayer warriors, and helping us to pray with greater confidence and boldness! It’s amazing how praying together really brings us together in our purpose.
We announced at this meeting that we have decided to change the plan of weekly meetings to meetings every other week. Thinking about it, we realized that it would have been too much, both for us and everyone else who wants to be involved. So, if the idea of meeting every week was a little daunting to you, hopefully this makes it less intimidating! Gathering every other week will also make it easier for the committees to find time to have their meetings.
These first two meetings were kind of like when a business has a soft-opening. So, we are taking a break for a few weeks, but our next meeting is scheduled for September 11th, 6:30-9:00 PM at Rhema Covenant Church. This meeting will officially get us started. The following meeting will be September 25th. Stay tuned for more information about our next meeting, and if you are able to make it, we would love to have you!
