Hello everyone!
November was a bit of a slower month for us. We ended up having only one meeting on Nov. 6th since we had to cancel our Nov. 20th meeting. But even so, at our one meeting we came up with a lot of good ideas for our Psalm 139 Mission outreaches. We solidified ideas for our future outreach concerts, and came up with a plan for smaller, impromptu outreaches that we can begin doing right now. We are hoping to start doing these outreaches in downtown Cheyenne, beginning January 2026.
I also was able to connect with a church in town that does an annual Christmas Eve outreach event for the needy in Cheyenne. I’m excited to say that we are going to be volunteering at that event! I think this will be a great starting point for Generation Jacob, collaborating with another ministry so that we can learn how these types of outreaches are done.
We are still in the process of finding churches that are willing to let us make our presentation at. If you could pray for God to open doors to churches for us, that would be very much appreciated!
We have decided to take a break during December from our meetings. Everyone is pretty busy this time of the year, including us :), and we felt it was best to wait for our next meeting until January.
It is wild to me that we are about to cross over into the new year, 2026! Time flies so quickly; it is a good reminder that we need to be faithful stewards of the time we have been given. God has been so faithful to us in this last year. I wouldn’t have thought at the beginning of this year that by the end of it I would be working on starting a non-profit mission! We have seen His hand at work in so many ways; He is faithful and true to keep all of His promises. As we step into the new year, I know that He will continue to guide us and perfect all that concerns us. I pray that we will have the willingness, the humility, and the surrender to follow Him wherever He leads! May Generation Jacob always be a people running after His heart! May our love for our King always be a sweet smelling aroma to Him!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Until the New Year!
“How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.” ~Psalm 36:7-9
