January 2026 Update

Hi everyone!

How are we already at the end of January? This month flew by! At our two meetings we were able to get a lot of work done, and I’m excited for what lies in store for us in the rest of this year!

At our January 8th meeting, we discussed ideas for the Psalm 139 Mission, and came up with a good game plan. We are looking forward to partnering with Life Choice, our local pregnancy center, for projects to support the work they are doing in our community; and we are very thankful that they are willing to let us be involved!

At our January 22nd meeting, we talked about the Isaiah 61 Mission, and were able to make decisions for how we can prepare ourselves for this mission. We plan to equip ourselves with knowledge of the issue, and we are looking into anti-trafficking organizations that we can volunteer with.

As more of a fun sidenote, we now have a name for the suicide prevention mission! The John 10 Mission is now separate from the Psalm 139 Mission; you can check it out on the MISSIONS page.

God is teaching us so much as we are working together for His mission. Even if we are not doing so much right now, I know He is preparing us and equipping us with everything we will need. Nothing will be wasted; He is helping us to build the foundation, and in His time, it will all be ready to go. I’m excited for what He will do!

Thank you for praying for us; the LORD is with us! May He be with you always!

“Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.” ~Psalm 86:11-12
