PRAYER. We believe in the power of prayer. It is one of our greatest weapons in spiritual warfare. Without it, we won’t be able to accomplish anything. We believe that God hears us, no matter how we pray. It is our duty to pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
THE HOLY SPIRIT. We believe that the Holy Spirit is with us and active in our lives today, just as much as He was in the Church of Acts. We believe that He is our Helper and Comforter. We believe that He speaks on our behalf and teaches us how to pray the perfect will of God.
THE BIBLE. We believe that the Bible is true. All of it. Not just the New Testament, not just our favorite passages; the whole thing. We hold the Bible as the standard for everything we do, everything we believe. God’s word is to be trusted above the word of any man.
THE GOSPEL. We believe that Jesus is the only Way, Truth, and Life, that no one comes to the Father but through Him. (John 14:6) As ambassadors of Christ, we want to proclaim the way to salvation through Him, shine His truth into this dark and depraved world, and see lives changed by the one who laid down His life for us. We believe that the Good News of His Salvation is for all people, everywhere!
WORSHIP. We believe in worship–true worship. Not just feel-good, upbeat, uplifting music. Worship is for Jesus, not for us. We praise Him for who He is, thank Him for what He has done, and cry out to Him because we need Him. We also believe that worship is a powerful weapon in spiritual warfare. Worship ushers in the presence of God, and His presence changes everything.
THE DEVIL. We believe that there is a real devil and a real hell. He is out to steal, kill and destroy us, and take as many souls to hell with him as he can. If there wasn’t a devil, there wouldn’t be spiritual warfare, and there would be no need to fight against the darkness.
PRO-LIFE. We are pro-Life. We believe that life begins at conception, and that every life, born and unborn, is a gift from the Lord. We believe in the Lord’s command to “Be fruitful and multiply” (Genesis 1:28) and that children are a “heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3)
PRO-ISRAEL. We support Israel! Israel is God’s chosen people, and we believe what Romans 11 says about her, that God has not forsaken the olive tree of Israel and we have been grafted in, that in the end, “All Israel will be saved.” (Rom. 11:26) We will stand by her, in need and in rejoicing. We will bless Israel, because the Lord said, “whoever blesses you I will bless, and whoever curses you I will curse” (Genesis 12:3) We stand with Israel, no matter the cost.
